Getting to Know Rebekah
Q: When/how did you become involved with Lightbearers?
Q: What excites you most about the Lightbearers vision?
A: I love the thorough approach to discipleship, and how naturally it integrates with and supports the local church.
Q: What has been the most influential book you've read this past year and why?
A: Teach Me to Feel by Courtney Reissig. Being faced with an onslaught of trials in the past couple of years, I found myself with unfamiliar and overwhelming emotions that I lacked the capacity to navigate. Courtney’s book helped to explain those emotions and presented a Biblical and grace-filled guide to responding to them.
Q: How do you like to spend your time when you're not working?
A: Most of my time is spent caring for and cleaning up after my children, but in quiet moments I enjoy reading fiction, organizing closets, assembling jigsaw puzzles, improvising on the piano, watching Hallmark movies, creating spreadsheets just for fun, and trying out new local restaurants with my husband.
