Lightbearers feels right at home in Starkville, Mississippi!
Our long-term goal is to own an apartment community in Starkville and have acquired land towards that end. Until the time when our diverse community has a home near Mississippi State, there are several ways that Lightbearers uniquely cares for MSU students.
- Lightbearers Institute is a weekly theological talk designed to draw students into the deep end of Bible study and equip them to have discussions with peers about the topics. Institute at Mississippi State has a great small group atmosphere.
- Starkville has some amazing church communities, and we work hard to supports these local churches. We welcome many pastors to teach our Institute classes, and help students find a church where they can fully invest their time and energy.
- The end goal of Lightbearers is to help students know, love, and follow Jesus, and this is accomplished best through 1-on-1 mentorship relationships. We know that students are in need of help navigating life in college and beyond. We believe the best way forward is a confident foundation of belief in Jesus and the Bible.
